Sunrise Child Advancement Initiative (SCAI) began in 2012 as an effort by its founder Gloria Daniel to address an immediate challenge which she observed in the community where she lives (Mista-Ali). She was disturbed by the number of out of school children who are either roaming the street aimlessly or in search of some mischief. This prompted her to look for creative ways to solve this problem in a holistic manner. Thus, SCAI was born.

Our Mission

We exist to advocate the right of indigent and vulnerable children, women, and people living with disability in plateau state Nigeria through comprehensive educational programs, skill-building initiatives, and emotional well-being support, in order to break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for them.

Our Vision 

We envision a future where every indigent child, woman and people living with disability regardless of their background or circumstances are empowered to rise above challenges and reach their highest potential.
